Oklahoma Anthropological Society - This is a non-profit association of the
professional and amateur archeologists and anthropologists in Oklahoma. We do
archeological field work as a group twice each year, and much of this work is
done in western Oklahoma. The OAS excavated a prehistoric campsite in Roger
Mills County 1988-1990, and performed an archeological survey of the Packsaddle
Wildlife Management Area just across the Canadian River in Ellis County in 1999.
